From Ice Blended, to Trascended

Our story starts in 1919 – when the first snow cone was sold. Samuel Bert, an East Dallas resident, started selling his newly invented ice treat at the State Fair of Texas. Bert’s snow cone stand was an instant success, and his business grew over many decades.

Since then, the snow cone has become a popular treat all around the world, but we’ve lost sight of the original purpose. Samuel Bert loved running his snow cone stand because of the impact it had on customers. His snow cones brought people together, which had a lasting effect on the community.

We set out to honor Samuel Bert’s dream, and asked ourselves how we’d replicate the same kind of human connection in today’s fast paced society. Just like Bert, we found our solution using local, natural ingredients.

The Peyote cactus is native to the West Texas desert. For thousands of years, Native Americans used the plant to cure physical ailments while simultaneously bringing the tribe together.

We pluck the cactus right out of the ground, grind it up, and mix it into your snow cone. From ice blended, to transcended.

During the winter, we extract fallen snow right out of the cactus patches. The snow absorbs the Peyote plant’s powers, creating a colorful rainbow snow slush. We serve it as is.

When we’re not serving our cactus snow cones, we’re serving other things.
